Gynaecological Oncology Services

The Gynaecological Oncology service offers counseling , diagnosis and treatment of malignant and pre-malignant conditions including advanced cases. The spectrum of surgery offered includes minimally invasive and major exsenterative techniques collaborating in a multidisciplinary setting with other oncology specialties.

Maternal-Fetal Medicine Services

The MF section comprises a multidisciplinary team of doctors focusing on high-risk obstetrics and includes joint clinics with the endocrinologists and cardiologists. First Trimester Screening for Downs syndrome is performed by an experienced team of sonographers who are accredited by the Fetal Medicine Foundation (United Kingdom). Level II fetal anomaly scans are carried out in conjunction with prenatal invasive testing. There is also a one-stop scan clinic for monitoring multiple pregnancies.

Ultrasound Services

Ultrasound services is integral part of Obs&Gyn services. A team of experienced sonographers provide a comprehensive service. The team has expanded their service of performing routine and specialized gynaecological scans in the Centre for Assisted Reproduction (CARE) Prenatal Diagnostic Centre (PDC) and the Early Pregnancy Unit (EPU).

The EPU facilitates prompt access for patients with first trimester complications and aims to centralise and streamline assessment diagnosis, management & counseling of patients with conditions such as miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies.

Reproductive Medicine Services

The Centre for Assisted Reproduction is to be established to look after patients with both male and female with fertility problems

Genetic testing prior to embryo transfer is an integral of service provided. Our team of experienced IVF accredited specialists, nurses, embryologists and sonographers work together to offer state-of-the-art medicine in patients’ fertility and IVF journe.

Individualised treatment is tailored according to the couples medical conditions and needs. Counselling services are also available as part of the holistic approach to patient care.

Fertility preservation for semen, oocytes, embryo and ovarian tissue storage services are also available for patients about to embark on treatment that may affect their fertility potential (e.g.: cancer patients going for chemotherapy).
