The vascular surgery service is a specialist unit providing diagnosis and treatment for the full range of arterial, venous and lymphatic diseases.

The department provides excellent care for patients with vascular disease
including the treatment of :

• Aortic dissection.

• Aortic aneurysms.

• Thoraco-abdominal aneurysms.

• Carotid artery disease.

• Peripheral vascular disease surgery and endovascular treatments.

• Varicose veins treatment including surgery , exo- &endo-laser ablations and foam sclerotherapy.

• Deep venous disease.

• Lymphoedema.

• Leg ulcers.

• Diabetic vascular disease: a multidisciplinary approach including a diabetic foot clinic.

• Arteriovenous malformations: owing to its 10 year experience in treating vascular malformations, the department is recognized for its excellent service in diagnosis and treatment of these complex lesions.

• We offer a 24 hour vascular service at consultant level for all vascular emergencies.
This comprehensive vascular service is supported by the most recent specialized diagnostic and intervention tools including sophisticated duplex ultrasound, a dedicated two-plane intervention suite and the most advanced intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) which enables precise diagnosis and treatment of complex vascular lesions.
