Andrology refers to a group of problems and diseases that primarily affect males. A large number of men around the world face health challenges related to the male reproductive system and its sexual and reproductive functions. These include disorders of the male reproductive system, problems with the male urinary tract, disturbances in male hormone production, or problems with male sexual function.
Statistics from the World Health Organization indicate that the prevalence of andrology and erectile dysfunction among men may reach more than 50% among those over the age of fifty. However, only a few of them consult a male doctor because most feel embarrassed to talk about the issue. Some are often forced to take medications to enhance erections or increase sexual desire without consulting a doctor, which may be accompanied by side effects and potentially cause serious complications.

Erectile dysfunction can sometimes be caused by a physical or psychological disorder. Most men experience sudden erectile dysfunction or difficulty maintaining an erection from time to time. However, recurrent erectile dysfunction may be a sign of a health problem that requires specialist consultation.
It is important to treat erectile dysfunction, as it can cause psychological problems in men and can lead to other problems, such as decreased fertility or a lack of desire for sexual intercourse
